Yvonne Shen is a junior at Boise High School, where she served as Chapter President. She has been involved in DECA since sophomore year, and her favorite part of DECA is the amazing community. Outside of DECA, she competes in speech & debate, plays the violin and piano, leads the Idaho Asian American Pacific Islanders Youth Alliance, and loves to ski and hike in the Idaho outdoors!

Sara Siegler is Idaho’s Vice President of Leadership! She is a junior at Coeur d’Alene High School and this is her first year in DECA. She is a part of her school’s Student Council as the Junior class president and she is also a Cross Country and Track athlete. Outside of school, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also loves to travel, read, and be out in nature! She is very excited to serve her state and looks forward to the experiences that being a State Officer will bring to both her and her peers!

Josh Bommersbach is a junior at Payette High School, this is his second year being involved in the DECA organization. Josh’s favorite part of DECA is the community that surrounds it throughout not only the country but the entire world. Josh plays tuba and trombone for his local school where he is the low brass section leader. In his free time Josh enjoys golfing and playing tennis with friends and family.

Jai Kommireddy is a junior at Timberline High School, and a 2 year DECA member. Previously he held the role of Vice President of Career Development at his chapter, and now holds the position of VP of Career Development for Idaho DECA. Jai loves the community he has met through DECA, and wants to help build this community. In his free time Jai loves exploring, music, and thrifting.

Jalen Lu is a junior at Timberline High School. This is his third year doing DECA, and he’s had the pleasure of serving as his chapter’s VP of Finance last year, as well as the State VP of Finance this year. The coolest part of DECA for him is meeting lots of cool people from all over the world. Outside of DECA, Jalen participates in math/science competitions, robotics, and speech & debate. He also enjoys hiking, music, gaming, soccer, and randomly surfing the web!

Cooper Yake is a Junior at Lake City High School. A first year DECA member, Cooper serves as both his chapter’s President, and as the Vice President of Marketing for Idaho DECA. His involvement goes beyond DECA, as he is involved in BPA, Student Council, Model United Nations, and Orchestra. His hobbies include sports, listening to music, learning about history, and shopping.
